Term applied to a full-bodied wine with good structure, which is virile, balanced in all its components (acidity, alcohol, tannins for red wines, sugars and glycerol especially for sweet wines) which is the type for keeping a long time (ten, twenty years). 2

Hochar Pere et Fils red 2002: spicy, cedar nose, round tannins with good acidity, distinctive nose but deceptively light in colour as it is a robust wine. 3
