Nota

The limpidity of a wine is defined as the absence of haze, that is, of particles in suspension. It might be better defined as an acceptable level of visible impurities under analysis because there is no such thing as absolute limpidity in wine. 2

A limpid wine has brilliance and brightness and it radiates light. The beauty of a wine lies in its colour and brilliance. 3
