Definizione

A full cluster of grape berries. 1

Nota

A bunch is an inflorescence of the vine after berries have set. [...] A grape bunch has two arms, called outer and inner. The inner arm develops the bulk of the bunch, while the outer arm may vary from a large, well-set "wing" to a small tendril arm without berries, or it may even abort. Bunches vary hugely in size depending on that years' fruit set and vine variety, from a few grams to many kilograms. They also vary in shape and tightness depending on the lengthening and flexibility of the bunchstem and branches and, of course, on setting and berry size. 2

Contesto

The ideal bunch of grapes is one which is of medium size for the variety, compact, uniformly developed and ripened thoroughly, containing no small or diseased berries, and with the bloom intact. 3
